Delano, CA. Self-Published, 1967. Unbound. Signed by Jon Lewis and hand-numbered 46 of 250. Portfolio of twelve 12"x9" images from the Delano Grape Strike. Prints are crisp and unworn but deeply toned; toning and soiling to portfolio. Lewis produced this work to fund his master's thesis (also on the Grape Strike) at San Francisco State. While in Delano, he befriended Cesar Chavez and went on to work closely with the United Farm Workers Union as a photographer. An interesting and scarce piece of labor history. Acceptable. Item #10249
